Lego Mindstorms NXT Robot Workshop
Last Friday (26th Feb), TWGSB teachers Mr Robson and Mr Goddard ran a workshop demonstrating how the Lego Mindstorms NXT robot can be used to help students learn about control. This was held at St. Gregory’s as part of a day on teaching Control in primary schools organised by Advisory Service Kent. Ten Tunbridge Wells area primary schools attended, each bringing 3-5 students from Year 1 to 5. Assisting Mr Robson and Mr Goddard were three boys from years 7 and 9, Brett Kirk, Nathan Schleider and Joseph Kromm. They did a fantastic job.
