All students in Year 7 are encouraged to take part in a full day of Bushcraft Activities at Penshurst Place.This trip will take place during ARE Week when the whole school is off timetable and we are able to run special trips for Years 7–9. During the rest of the week, students will take part in workshops and further information will be sent out nearer the time.
The trip is run by the Bushcraft Company (a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge holder) and students will travel by coach from school to Penshurst Place. Students will have the opportunity to take part in activities including exercises in camouflage and concealment, shelter building and wilderness cookery. Form groups will travel on different days – the specific date for each form will be advised closer to the time.
