Houses at TWGSB

There are four houses at TWGSB, all named after local stately homes and castles: Knole, Scotney, Hever and Ightham.  

Students are allocated to a house on joining the school. The House Points (HP) they earn for excellent work and behaviour (viewable on Satchel:One) all contribute towards their house total, and competitions take place in different subjects throughout the year. 

Each house has a member of staff who is Head of House, and Sixth Form Students as House Captains who are on the Senior Prefect Team.

House T-shirts

The house t-shirts (available only from TWGSB uniform stockists, Monkhouse and Horncastles Ltd) are plain in colour with the school logo embroidered on them. Students are required to wear a house t-shirt at house events such as the regular KS3 Interhouse sports competitions.
