The government has introduced new guidance requiring schools to limit branded uniform items to a maximum of four compulsory items, from September 2026. The list of uniform below has been updated to reflect these changes. Please note: Through the school uniform we are able to ensure that students are not singled out by others due to reasons concerning appearance. We also expect all students to be tidy in their appearance so hair should be of a reasonable length. Extreme haircuts (for example shaved areas or patterns) are not acceptable. Eyebrows must not be shaved. No personal jewellery should be worn – this means no rings and no earrings at any time; no make-up and no nail varnish. We believe that a student who wants to ‘stand out from the crowd’ within this school should do so through positive behaviour and actions, not their appearance.
