Our cashless catering services are run by Independent Catering, and students purchase items using a sQuid fob, pictured here (www.squidcard.com).
Breakfast is available before school at both campuses, and food is available at both breaks.
At Tunbridge Wells there are two lunch breaks and the full menu is served at both: 11:10–11:45 and 12:50–13:20. There are different food options available in the three serving areas, and students have access to the different locations on a rota.
At Sevenoaks morning break is 11:10–11:40 and lunch is 12:40–13:25. At morning break there are a selection of breakfast rolls, waffles, pancakes, croissants, pitta breads with cheese and other toppings, and beans on toast. At lunch, hot food is served as below. All food is served and eaten in the dining hall.
Hot food choices at both campuses include two main meals (home cooked) including one vegetarian meal, and jacket potatoes with choices of fillings. In addition, there is different 'street food' available each day, as well as sandwiches, fresh fruit, cakes and cookies. All students are given sQuid fobs on joining TWGSB. All the fobs look the same and work in the same way, whether the student is receiving a free meal or is paying. The only difference is that your son/daughter will have their account set up to allow them to get a meal without you needing to put money into the account.
