School Fund
A good education cannot be provided in the classroom alone. At TWGSB we want every child to realise their full personal, academic and social potential, whatever their particular skills or abilities. Our aim as a school is to provide a first-class education with an emphasis on All-Round Excellence, to ensure that our students are prepared for the wider world after school.
The School Fund is absolutely vital to that experience.
Regular monthly donations set up by you, our parents, are incredibly important. They allow us to not only plan for the future, but also enable us to offer your children the rich and diverse experiences that are a mark of a TWGSB education. Thanks to donations from parents, supported activities include:
- All Round Excellence Week events
- Drama and concert productions
- Non-sporting events such as maths challenge and debating
- Visiting speakers and authors costs
- Clubs such as Hot House Gardening and Film Club
- Running the school minibuses
- Other maintenance projects such as the 3G carpet
- School sports competitions/medals and trophies/payment of qualified match officials
- Additional Library resources
How You Can Help
I am asking every parent who possibly can, to consider making a donation to the School Fund at whatever level you feel is comfortable for you.
£20 per student per month will enable us to sustain and to run these developmental activities.
Making a gift is simple and can be done by Direct Debit or Standing Order. As the School Fund is a registered charity, if you are a UK tax payer your donation can be increased by 25p for every £1 you donate through gift aid. Thank you for completing the form below indicating your support.
