Results Days August 2024

Refer to this page for the procedure for collecting results on Results Days, and for requesting reviews of marking. Summer 2024 results will be published as follows:

  • A Levels: 15th August 2024

  • GCSEs: 22nd August 2024

Collecting Results

Results for both A Level and GCSE students will be available to collect from Dining Room 1 between 08:00 and 10:00 on the relevant Results Day. Members of SLT and other key staff members will be available to speak to students and parents in person regarding any queries.

Students unable to collect their results in person...

A student who wishes someone else to collect their results from school on Results Day on their behalf, must complete this online form, using their school Office 365 login, to provide the name of the person collecting. The nominated person must bring ID with them on the day, otherwise we will not be able to release the results to them.

We will be able to email exam results during Results Day but these can only be emailed to a student’s school email account. Any student who is going to be out of the country on Results Day, also needs to complete the same online form, and indicate which country they will be in so that our IT team can unlock school email access from overseas on the day.

A Level Results Day – Thursday 15th August 2024

What to do on Results Day: Click HERE for TWGSB instructions on collecting results and what to do once you have them (also available below to download).

A Level students intending to go to university (or their parents) may also like to click HERE for a link from UCAS in preparation for A Levels Results Day.

Post-Exam Results Services: If you have any queries about your A Level grades once you have your results, please contact the relevant Head of Department by email in the first instance and they will be able to advise you as to the best course of action.

Heads of Department will be looking at the grade boundaries to determine whether a review of marking could be considered – it is usually the case that students should be within three marks of the overall grade. Please bear in mind that a grade can also go down on a review of marking.

Full details on Post-Exam Results Services will follow shortly.

GCSE Results Day – Thursday 22nd August 2024

Please avoid calling the school as we will only deal with queries via email on Results Day.

Internal (current TWGSB) students

Once you have received your results, if you are on site you will be able to discuss/confirm your admission to the Sixth Form and your A Level subjects with a member of staff. If you do not speak to a member of staff while on site, or you have had your results emailed to you, then please email us at thegrammarschool@twgsboys.kent.sch.uk to confirm your Sixth Form place and A Level subjects, or ask for a return phone call to discuss the matter further.

Post-Exam Results Services: If you have any queries about your GCSE grades once you have your results, please contact school by email in the first instance for advice on the best course of action. Heads of Department will be looking at the grade boundaries to determine whether a review of marking could be considered. Please bear in mind that a grade can also go down on a review of marking.

Full details on Post-Exam Results Services will follow shortly.
