The highly successful, thriving and popular Science department is seeking a new Science Teacher to join us.
The Science department runs smoothly and our students achieve well across Key stages 3 to 5. Our core purpose is to fully engage all our students and ignite their curiosity and determination so they can achieve their full potential. The Science department has eleven laboratories, all fully equipped for high quality teaching and learning; we are further supported by three technicians. We teach the AQA and OCRsyllabus in KS4 and KS5.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Science curriculum and how this can be taught in an inspiring and innovative way to maximise student engagement and success. They will be able to provide effective support to the Science department and steer areas of common interest across the department in order to enhance the quality of learning and achievement.
We welcome applications from creative and dynamic teachers who can contribute to this vision. The successful applicant will be someone who can inspire students. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECTs at this popular and over-subscribed boys’ grammar school with mixed sixth form.
The main campus for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other campuses connected to TWGSB.
